Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about joining our family and growing with us.

Who can participate in the Men’s Ministry at LICC?

All men are welcome! Whether single, married, young, or old, every man has a place here. Our goal is to help you become everything God created you to be. You don’t need to be perfect to join; you just need a willing heart to grow, serve, and lead.

What types of events and activities does the Men’s Ministry organize?

Our Men’s Ministry offers a rich mix of activities from prayer breakfasts, leadership and finance seminars, sports and bonding events, to outreach and community service projects. Every event is designed to help men grow in godliness, build meaningful relationships, and impact their world through the living Word.

Is there a mentorship program available through the Men’s Ministry?

Mentorship is one of our strongest values. Older and more experienced men in faith are paired with younger men to provide spiritual, professional, and personal guidance (2 Timothy 2:2). This helps us raise leaders who are strong in character, family, and calling.

I’m new to the church and don’t know anyone in the Men’s Ministry. How can I get connected?

You’re very welcome! Every man who joins LICC becomes part of a growing brotherhood. Simply introduce yourself to a Men’s Ministry leader after service or fill out our short connection form. You’ll quickly find that this is a space where men of all ages are encouraged, supported, and strengthened in faith and purpose.

How often does the Men’s Ministry hold events and meetings?

The Men’s Ministry organizes meetings, prayer sessions, retreats, and outreach programs at different times throughout the year. Some gatherings are monthly, while others are quarterly or tied to special events. Every meeting is designed to build men spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

How can I stay updated on upcoming Men’s Ministry events and announcements?

You can stay informed by following our social media platforms, joining our WhatsApp broadcast list, or checking the church announcements during services. We also post updates on our website and through the LICC newsletter, so you never miss an event or opportunity to connect.

How can I join a small group or Bible study within the Men’s Ministry?

Joining a small group is easy! Our men’s small groups meet periodically to study the Word, share experiences, and build strong friendships. Simply let one of the Men’s Ministry leaders know, or visit our information desk to find a group that fits your location and schedule. These groups help you grow in God’s Word and connect with brothers who sharpen your faith (Proverbs 27:17).

How can I get involved in serving through the Men’s Ministry?

We’d love to have you serve! You can get involved by speaking to one of the ministry leaders or signing up through our volunteer form. Whether it’s planning events, mentoring younger men, leading small groups, or helping with logistics, there’s a place for you. Serving is how we grow and strengthen one another (Mark 10:45).

Can I invite friends or family members who are not members of LICC to Men’s Ministry events?

Definitely! The Men’s Ministry is open to all men, whether or not they are members of LICC. We encourage you to invite your friends, colleagues, and family members. It’s a great way for them to connect with godly men and experience the brotherhood and impact of our community.

Are there any opportunities for prayer support within the Men’s Ministry?

Yes, absolutely. Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. The Men’s Ministry regularly holds prayer meetings where men come together to intercede for their families, careers, the church, and our nation. We also offer personal prayer support for anyone who needs it. Scripture says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16), and we believe that together, our prayers make tremendous power available.
