Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about joining our family and growing with us.

Who can participate in the Women’s Ministry at LICC?

Every woman is welcome! Whether single, married, widowed, or divorced, young or mature, there’s a place for you here. The Women’s Ministry is a safe space to grow, heal, and flourish in your walk with God. We are one family of women pursuing purpose, unity, and impact together.

What types of Bible studies are offered through the Women’s Ministry?

We offer both topical and book-based Bible studies designed to help women grow in faith, wisdom, and purpose. Themes often include godly womanhood, family, leadership, prayer, and personal growth. Every session is interactive, encouraging honest conversations and real spiritual transformation (Proverbs 31:26).

What opportunities are available for women to serve within the Women’s Ministry?

There are many ways to serve! From hospitality and prayer coordination to outreach, mentoring, and event planning, there’s a place for every woman to use her gifts. Serving is one of the most fulfilling ways to grow in faith and community (Romans 12:6–8). You can volunteer during services or reach out to the Women’s Ministry team directly.

Is financial assistance available for women who want to participate in events or Bible studies but may not be able to afford it?

Yes, it is. We never want finances to stop anyone from growing spiritually. If you’d like to attend a program but need assistance, please speak privately with a Women’s Ministry leader. We’ll do our best to provide support or connect you with available sponsorships. We believe that “where there’s a will, there’s always grace.”

How can I suggest a topic for a future Women’s Ministry event or Bible study?

We love hearing your ideas. You can share your topic suggestions directly with any of the ministry leaders or through our online contact form. The Women’s Ministry thrives on real conversations that meet the spiritual and personal needs of our women, so your input is always valued.

How can I stay updated on upcoming Women’s Ministry events and activities?

You can stay updated by following LICC on all our social media pages, joining the Women’s Ministry WhatsApp group, and listening out for announcements during services. We also send updates through our email newsletter and post details on the church website.

How can I get involved in the Women’s Ministry if I’m new to the church?

Welcome home! It’s easy to get involved. Meet one of the Women’s Ministry leaders after service or fill out a short interest form at the information desk. We’ll introduce you to other women, share upcoming events, and help you find your place in the sisterhood. You don’t have to wait; there’s always room for you here!

How can I connect with other women in the church outside of scheduled events and Bible studies?

We encourage women to stay connected through small prayer circles, fellowship groups, and outreach teams. Many lifelong friendships have been built through these smaller connections. You can also join our online platforms or WhatsApp groups to stay in touch and receive regular encouragement. (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10).

Can I invite friends from outside the church to participate in Women’s Ministry events?

Absolutely! The Women’s Ministry is open to all women, whether they attend LICC or not. We believe that sisterhood in Christ goes beyond church walls. Invite your friends, colleagues, or neighbors; everyone deserves the encouragement, growth, and love that this ministry offers.

Are childcare services available during Women’s Ministry events?

We understand that mothers often need time to connect, learn, and be refreshed. During most Women’s Ministry events, childcare is provided by our trained and trusted children’s workers so that you can participate fully and without worry. Your children will be cared for in a safe, loving environment.
