Discipleship is at the centre of our calling. Jesus didn’t just ask us to follow Him – He commanded us to make disciples of all nations. We are not only God’s children; we are also disciples of Jesus. This means our faith is not passive. It is active, intentional, and growing. We follow Him with purpose, knowing that discipleship is the natural response of a heart that loves God.
To be a disciple is to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. We study His life, copy His ways, and learn from His example. He becomes our model for how to speak, how to love, how to forgive, and how to serve. Discipleship is not about being perfect; it is about being willing – willing to learn, willing to change, and willing to let Jesus shape our lives day by day.
And just as we follow Jesus, we help others do the same. Everyone who comes to Christ is invited into the same journey of growth. We teach them the life of Jesus, His principles, and His heart. We don’t simply introduce people to salvation; we walk with them as they mature in their faith. Discipleship is personal, relational, and consistent – it is how spiritual babies become strong believers.
This is our church culture. We choose to grow, and we choose to help others grow. We refuse to settle for shallow Christianity. Instead, we embrace a lifestyle of learning, obedience, and transformation. Discipleship strengthens us, unites us, and keeps our focus on Jesus. As a church family, we encourage one another to stay on this path, knowing that following Jesus fully is the greatest journey we will ever take.
